Textile Craft Training
All our textile craft courses are product related and we recommend the linking of a sewing course, if participants do not have any sewing skills.
Each technique is taught by demonstration and hands on experience. Learners are introduced to the basic concept of colour mixing and design.
5-day or 10-day Basic Craft Course
Trainees are introduced to 5 craft techniques: resist painting, tie dye, block printing, embroidery, and sun dyeing.
5-day or 10-day Textile Painting & Design
Trainees are introduced to application of designs to textile products. Products produced include: table overlays, place mats and cushion covers.
5-day Tye Dying & Sun Dying Course
Trainees are introduction to various dying methods with different colour combinations. Products produced include: sarongs, bags and t-shirts.
5-day Basic Block Printing Course
Trainees are introduced to the importance of layout and design. Products produced include: bags, file covers, t-shirts and tableware.
5-day Embroidery Course
Trainees are introduced to basic embroidery techniques, as well as, layout and design. Products produced include: bags, file covers, t-shirts and tableware.

Hand crafted dolls made by our local communities as an income generation project.The face is individually embroidered, some of the clothes are made from tie dyed fabric and each doll is very unique.
